The Neogen® Sponge-Stick features a durable, biocide-free cellulose sponge pre-moistened with Neutralizing Buffer for convenient environmental and food surface sampling. Mounted on a handle for easy access to hard-to-reach areas such as drains, pipes, and around equipment, it allows hygienic sample collection without direct contact, helping maintain sample integrity. Each sponge snaps easily into the included sample bag for safe transport to the lab. Neutralizing Buffer supports accurate microorganism detection by inactivating residual disinfectants such as chlorine and quaternary ammonium compounds during surface testing.
